Ok, so that updating once a week sure didn't happen, and this is pretty much the end of www.jasonstrudwick.ca .  We won't be renewing our site name, but you WILL still be able to access the site at the following address http://www.canucksreport.com/jsca/index2.html so if you have us bookmarked, it's time to update your links!

Just last week, Jodi and I returned from our little trip to the Windy City.  We were only there for 4 days, but loved every minute of it!  Chicago is GREAT!!!  I highly recommend the Magnificent Mile (and lots of $$).  I think we spent most of our money at Northbridge mall.  Nordstrom Ice Storms are to die for!  If you care to take a gander at some of our pictures, you can view them here http://www.shutterfly.com/view/pictures.jsp?aid=67b0de21b3f52144c46f

We, of course took in a Blackhawks game (Canucks vs. Hawks)  Despite being devout Strudwick fans, we were extremely loud Canuck freaks that night.  Suprisingly enough, we met a ton of Canadians there, and all Canuck fans too!  Sadly the Canucks lost.  It was a very exciting game though.  The Canucks took the initial lead, then got walloped by the Hawks who scored 3 unanswered goals.  The Canucks came back to tie it up in the 3rd, but sadly they lost it in OT.  HOWEVER, the loss was made sweeter by a one Mr. Jason Strudwick getting an assist on the game winner.  I think he was out for blood considering he took a stick in the face in the 3rd.  There was a lot of blood, but no penalty call.  Needless to say, he was rather peeved... but he got his revenge.

So this is it!  It's been a great 3 years, and while we'll remain steadfast backers of Jason Strudwick, we can't seem to stick with the upkeep of this site anymore.

Thanks Jason SO VERY VERY MUCH for helping to make this site a little more unique by answering all of our questions.  We wish you nothing but the absolute best of luck!

Jason has left you all with one more little 'Interview'.  To view the answers to all your questions, click here.

I've come to accept the fact that updates to the site will be a bit spread out, but will try and update at least once a week.  We are three very busy girls though, so don't hold your breath.

Since we've last updated, Jason has been injured.  Torn ligaments in his left wrist were going to put him out 2-3 months, thankfully though, after further inspection it turned out to be less severe.  Ligaments are ok, but a bone was broken so Jason should be back in the lineup by December.  Yay!

We've added some of the journals that Jason has been writing for the Blackhawks website.  The clip of Jason singing Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" will be added shorty and it is NOT to be missed!!

The links page has also been updated.

What's this, a js.ca update?? It's about time.  What can I say, all of your lovely webmistresses have been busy moving/travelling/working...  But enough about us, lets talk Strudwick!

Seems our favourite defenseman was playing left wing during training camp and wearing #19 (no doubt a hommage to the one and only Steve Yzerman).  Great news!  Every two weeks, Jason is going to be doing an online journal for the Chicago Blackhawks site.  You can catch the first entry here.  In this week's entry, Jason discusses the changes he made in his off season training routine to prepare him for his role as a winger.  I can't wait for the start of the season, and hopefully I can catch a few Chicago games.

On that note, I'm off to an Oilers preseason game!  I'm hoping to reformat the photo section of js.ca soon and add those pictures I've been promising you for oh so long.  Trust me, they're worth the wait!  There's also another transcript of a radio interview with Jason from CFOX in Vancouver that I will try to get up asap!

GO BLACKHAWKS!!!  (and go Canucks!!!!)
