Other Info: His father is an RCMP officer and Bill moved a lot
growing up. He lists his hobbies as golf, fly fishing and weightlifting.
At the Canucks 1999 training camp in Kelowna, Bill said he had a rainbow
trout jump into his boat; (Reporters were divided on whether it was true
or not). Bill was "forced" to sing the University of Michigan fight song
at the Canucks Dice & Ice benefit thanks to Mark Messier. Bill graduated
from Merritt Secondary School (1992) in Merritt, B.C., and was named
"Athlete of the School" at Kelowna Christian School. He was enrolled in
the Division of Kinesiology at Michigan, and majored in Sports Management
and Communications. He won the Molson Canucks Fishing Derby in August 1999
with his partner Calvin Payne with a combined weight of 60.4lbs. "BC Boy,
